At DEECO Metals, we’re committed to transparency and partnership every step of the way — including when it comes to tooling and development charges.

Tooling Payment Terms

All tooling and development fees are due at the time of order placement. These charges help us create the high-quality, custom tooling needed to meet your exact specifications.

First Article Samples

As part of our process, DEECO will provide first article samples (when applicable) that align with the specifications provided at the time of your order. If we're unable to meet your required specifications, we'll work closely with you to find a fair and mutually agreeable resolution, which may include a partial refund of the tooling costs.

Tooling Ownership & Use

All dies and tools produced for the manufacturing of your parts remain the property of DEECO Metals. These tools are not transferable. Your tooling payment covers the initial development only — and once paid, you won’t be charged again for maintenance, repairs, or replacements.

What Happens if the Mill Changes?

In the unlikely event that our partner mill is no longer able to produce your parts and a new mill must be brought on board, we may need to charge a partial fee for tooling replacement. We’ll always do our best to minimize these costs and keep you informed throughout the process.

Exclusive Use Guarantee

All products manufactured from your custom tooling are created exclusively for you. DEECO will never sell or reproduce your parts for another customer without your written permission
