Peer-reviewed, published data from <a href=\"http:\/\/journals.plos.org\/plosone\/article?id=10.1371\/journal.pone.0075017\">laboratory studies<\/a> conducted by Professor Bill Keevil at the UK\u2019s University of Southampton shows copper\u2019s ability to quickly and completely inactivate norovirus; other research has proven the material effective against MRSA, E. coli, and other biothreats.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deecometals.com\/metals\/copper-alloys\">Copper alloys<\/a>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deecometals.com\/metals\/brass-alloys\">brasses<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deecometals.com\/metals\/bronze-alloys\">bronzes<\/a>, share this unique property as well. Vinay also points out the materials\u2019 aesthetic benefits. \u201cWe\u2019re very pleased with the copper touch surfaces.
